I was already sharing photos and videos of my travels with family members who couldn’t join me.
Then, one day I thought, why not share these experiences with a slightly larger audience?

How I Travel ( And What To Expect From This Travel Blog)
I mostly travel by myself. Sometimes I take my teenage daughter with me.
I like to travel comfortably and with little stress. I usually stay in mid-range hotels but sometimes splurge and go for a luxurious getaway. That said, I don’t mind staying in a cozy bed and breakfast or a farmhouse either. So, you can expect to see a variety of accommodations on this blog!
I only write about destinations I’ve visited. I try to give you as much value as possible by sharing information about the places I’ve been to and the intriguing things I’ve picked up along the way.
I live in Amsterdam, (almost) in the center of Europe. There are fantastic train connections from Amsterdam to many cities in Europe. So I try to travel by train as much as possible. For destinations further away, I hop on a plane.
